My internet suddenly got Incredibly slow. I don't know what happened. I took me almost an hour just to get to this page. Here's my download test result: ::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 5 Kbps about 0 Mbps (tested with 97 KB)
Download Speed is:: 1 kB/s

For speeds that horrible, it looks like a connection issue. Powercycle your modem, (unplug it for atleast 30 seconds then plug it back in).
After you do this, post your new speed results.

I powercycled my modem and my connection improved a little. It's still a lot slower than usual. ::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 725 Kbps about 0.7 Mbps (tested with 579 KB)
Download Speed is:: 88 kB/s

I ran Ad-Aware, Spy Zapper, anti-virus, window washer, installed cablenut, then powercycled my modem and thats it. Now my computer is at it's peak. It's never been this fast before. I'm telling everyone I know about this site . Thanks again. |

I would try a few different sites for upload tests. I would try here http://ndt.itcc.unc.edu:7123/ and see what you get and also here http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ and pick a site close to you. My uploads are pretty low here when a bunch of people are testing... |
