Cablenut Tweaker

« on: February 21, 2005, 02:14:53 AM »

just like to share my Default settings vs Cablenut tweaks

the only thing i been changing is TcpWindowSize from 17520 to 64240, or else i would have gotten even slower speed

i run my NIC in 10 Mbps thats why i only have 17520 as default, i changed it so it would be same as 100 Mbps on my NIC

anyways here is the results with those settings

compare them with Cablenut tweak scores here http://thegamer.serveftp.com/Benchmark.htm    :haha:

yea, the AFD tweaks works better as more bandwidth you got and also as higher ping you have to the testserver ( up to a certain point, before you get loss )

this is my settings that works overall best for me

;) Yeah thats a great improvement , when my puter is default I can over double my speed by changing one value the RWIN from 17xxx to  64240, any other changes make no further speed improvement and all the Tweakers reccomend that the RWIN be set at 256xxx or higher which in fact slows down page loading a great deal. Everything I have read indicates that Micro$oft has the default setting there so it will "work" with  any type of connection...... but your speed improvement is insane... Smile
