Try unplugging your modem for few seconds and plug it back in.  This will manually make your modem request settings.  This may help you get the new settings faster than waiting.  Re-Test after and let me know.

I had no idea those 2 things reduced speed this much, I mean they do meet RR's requirements.    Ok well, I'm planning on getting a new comp in a couple of months anyway.

But I still wanna try some tweaks, I did notice an increase using one of the settings in cable nut.  So maybe I just need to find a better one but im really clueless and need help
