i have the DirecWay 6000 system.i got the results from www.testmy.net. ive tried applying theTCP optimizer and Cable Nut but i dont think idid it right since it didnt seem like it improved the speed. well heres my results from testmy.net

it was higher like yesterday i had around 900 :S but it went down today.i think im mest it up somehow lol

The main thing to remember here as stated above, PRIME TIME..... We all used whats called shared bandwidth, which means if you and I have a 100 mb connection and I am downloading a big file at same time as you, we are going to share that 100 mb connection, 50/50, now if 100 people are using it, you can guess what happens.

Playing with TCP optimiser and cable nut will increase your packet sizes to your DW6000, but will not increase your overall connection speed to the network, in my eyes and I am going to get flammed for this one, shared bandwidth is the key, the more users the slower we go, the less users, the faster we go.

Maybe we need to have less users per bird and more birds for users?

ive had dway for a while now but recently moved and they had to move my satellite to my new house. regarding what sat im on.i dont have any kind of idea and i agree with you guys..its just probably too manyu people accesing the internet.which sucks . DirecWay should do something about it.i dont know what.but their connection is getting slower and slower everytime.

OK this is the lay of the Sat's.....you are on AMC3....I don't know if that good ....or.....bad. Can't say I've heard of anyone else on it.   in regard to your IP nope can't say I can help ya there. I do know that for test logs on this site....that it only sees the router that you go through at the NOC.......so every time you power down and reconnect ...the odds of it being diffrent are very good. You can also go to this site and check sat speeds daily to see if your sat is running poorly  http://www.broadbandreports.com/forum/sat. And back in the Dway forum is a link with a reset program that you can download for the DW6000. Hope this helps you out some..
