What your getting is insane bursts. Nothing more. Its not possible to be 3 mb over your cap pushed via isp ~► modem. Try something a tad bit larger and see what comes of it ;)

dude... adelphia is beta testing upgrades in areas. The new caps for 4mb/512kb for beta testers i'm guessing are 6/768

Thats nice. Try larger test files and get true scores.. Or use small ones and kid yourself... Whichever makes you feel better i suppose. :s

what area are you in? As i said, you are prolly in a beta test area for the new speeds. The new caps are 7.2mbit down and 920kbit upload (to account for the overhead). Can you tell me what rwins and stuff you are using?

I am in the Logan, Ohio area, I have not heard of any beta testing in my area, and I highly doubt it would be a selected area. My speeds were averaged about 4.2mb until I just did this tweak, and as soon as I did it, they shot up over the 6mb range. My adelphia office is filled with complete idiots, as I said, I doubt I would be in a beta test area.
