school connection..

i am at my friends school and i tried the upload speed on here and it wont work...i tried the download speed and only got 3Mbps.

I went over to DSL reports and tried them..

2004-04-21 13:24:24 EST: 8771 / 8398
Your download speed : 8982001 bps, or 8771 Kbps.
A 1096.4 kB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 8600172 bps, or 8398 Kbps.

Why is that happening? Any other site i can try?

School just ain't what it used to be ;)

Last time I ran the download test there I got 1200, at home I get 2200.

your school may be blocking the method that my site uses to determine upload speed... try again tomorrow... see if it works...

Does it give you an error... anything?

We have bess.... the programs a BI%$H.... if you are interested in getting around your school's blocking program you might want to visit here.. http://www.peacefire.org/ Great little place so that you can surf to the fullest... Bess did block for some reason at my school... I dont know why it just does some times..
