I changed setting in reg for fast internet i have broadband and now my ping in game is very high now  and my download spped went from 700kb asec to 200 please hwlp me get it back like it was

welcome to the forum hello
you could try and go back to the windows default settings by clearing all boxes in cablenut, saving to registry and rebooting... this sounds more like your ISP though...

well i complety wiped hard drive out and reinstalled windows xp and it still real high and lots of lag but before i did this i had no lag no mattert ther server my pc has
amd 64 bit 3400+
1 GB corsir xm seris ram
ati 9800 pro
160GB sat150
how do i fix the isp then

isp is your internet service provider... i would suggest calling them and seeing if you can get any help, which might take a while...

ISP=people who provide you with an internet conncection. for me, it's www.charter.com, for you it may be any other! do a speed test and post it here please!  Smile

 jackel235:I can tell that you are a newbie so this is just some general advice.Slow down on the tweaking stop doing every tweak you find.Try to find out what the tweak is supposed to do so you know what the  probable end result will be.
Write down your old settings so you can put your OS back like it was before a bad tweak specially if you get a complete crash.IMO  if someone needs to define ISP for you then you need to learn more before you tweak.
