On this site it says i got 445 upload but on all the other sites i do connection tests its always above 512. I just did a test at pc pitstop and the high i got was 545 and the average was about 530-536 so im good  Cool

This is the speed I get on the speed tests at broadband reports.
2004-07-05 20:45:49 EST: 4485 / 539
Your download speed : 4592711 bps, or 4485 Kbps.
A 560.6 kB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 552719 bps, or 539 Kbps.

Then I would trust testmy.net's score more. I don't remember ever seeing someone getting a higher upload than he signed up for.

I always trust this website's tests more than any others Razz

I could believe that the download is higher than the advertised speed but the upload... I doubt it... ISPs control that like it is gold... well i guess it is Laughing  wink  Rolling Eyes

When I do an upload test I get WAYYY low results i just got 247 upload out of 512. I'd understand like 450 or something. I do other speed tests and i always get at least in the 500s. I doubt im getting 247 upload lol.

try to retest... I just noticed that I had uploaded an old version of the upload test to my server on accident, your results should sit right where you'd expect now Smile

I had an accuracy update that I made a while back... I have like 4 million versions of all my scripts on like 20 different machines, when I made my last minor update I uploaded the wrong file to my home server... litterally if I had version numbers for my scripts the upload test would be like version 15.233B and the download test would be version 45.887G haha... it is crazy how many updates I have made over the years -- being a perfectionist can make you crazy  :haha:

you have the premeire service right?

hmmm in my area the premiere service is 6/768
and here is my speeds very very common with pcpitstop's test.
actually on a very frequent basis i get 6.9-7.2 on the down side, and 1026 on the up side.

He's alright with his speeds but the Powerlink package he addresses is wrong.

Adelphia's packages (here in the Northeast) are as follows:

1.Basic, 256Kbps/256Kbps

2.Preferred, 4000Mbps/384Kbps

3.Premiere, 6000Mbps/768Kbps

4.Extreme, 16000Mbps/2000Mbps
