spike lag?

spike lag?

hey i play the game cs, and it goes from 200 ping to 50 and it keeps going on.

is this a connection problem or can i fix this

You have a p2p program open? (file sharing) , another user on your router downloading or uploading?
Wireless connection? Or spyware/virus

Thoes are the only things that would cause spikes.

not any, i have a 256k connection but it was better on my desktop comp, dunno why slow on laptop, better graphic card.

how can any give me any tweaks on cs or on comp to help my internet. it was fine on my desktop, now it lags on a better comp

anything wrong with network conif? or should i get more cs tweaks??
it lags then it doesnt, spike lag

also when i do a speed test it spike lags,
also i have SP1 should i dl sp2, if i should and if it will help me, tell me where to dl a good sp2 ty
