hi! i have 2 computers sharing internet using router. i notice that my dsl is slow when connected on router.
is router slowing my connection? thanks Smile

The router will slow down your connection a bit but it shouldn’t destroy your connection. Which brand and model of router do you have?

Hey Stitch, and welcome to the forum.

What you can try to do is a few speedtests here at testmy while you are connected through your router, find an average, then bypass the router (ie. connect directly PC to dsl modem) and do some more speedtests.  Notice much difference? Let us know.
