I was doing PC design work for many years, and was spending so much time doing design work.....I quit using the computer for entertainment, I just needed to get away from the damn machine for a while......

Those days have come and gone.....now I use the computer for both work and play...so like an Idiot I tried to play some old games that were the bom back in the day......but of course they don't work on the new computer, hardware issues...too fast...software issues NT based system vs 95 platform.....the games where Wing Commander 1,2,3,4 etc.....I never got to finish the last 6 disk interactive movie like game...so I figured what the hell and gave it a try.........well that was fun.....NOT!!    system locked up and I could never get it to see my old Logitech Wing-man Warrior Flight stick. 

My question is since the old days, what is the best space fighter game....out there now.....and what of the old wingman warrior joystick, is there no hope of ever using that again.....it was so nice and heavy.....fit my hand like a glove...do I need a special joystick and special game port to work with the new systems.....any help would be appreciated......no joy in mudville.......no games to play!
