I've used the one from broadbandreports.com. I don't know how accurate those tests are on my WAP internet since You have to tell it when the file is done. It's not automatic.

My phone uses the "craptacular" WAP protocol. But I don't expect much from a phone with a 1 inch screen. It's a Nokia 3595, BTW.

yeah, the wap doesnt work good for testmy.net....damon should make a mobile version of the site, lol...in his spare time!

"What spare time???!!!"

j/k dude.

my dad's phone barely has enough memory to go to the bbr one, and I think if you have a camera phone/mobile you get a lot more memory.  Very Happy

Careful there buckaroo.  Verizon currently has the fastest non WIFI network in North America.  You have to be on the 3G EVDO network which is only available in a few very expensive phone models.  I have their pcmcia card and just started testing it with my laptop Monday.  I average about 600k speed and have gotten burst as high at 1meg which is suprising considering the weak coverage here at my house.

I'll really put it through it's paces in a couple of weeks when I start traveling.  The card I'm using is the Audiovox PC 5740.  The plan I'm using is at http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/mobileoptions/broadband/index.jsp

Cingular, Sprint and others will have higher speed offerings this year.
