hello,I have optonline as my ISP and they said my download cap was 10mb,upload 1mb.does that sound right?I am a novice at computers, just got my 1st one (sony notebookVaio)in May.I installed Cablenut and Sguide tweak2 and average about 7600Kbps download 2992file. another question,I read in an article about adjusting Cablenut settings to set my efaultReceivewindow to 10485760.That seems very high,I don't want to melt down my pc.Thank you for any comments.p.s.I am running Windows xp home

hey northstar and welcome to the forum Smile

I made a guide how to tweak, you can choose the Non advanced way cos i got a customsettings file for OOL.

Best thing is to leave that DefultRecivewindow blank in win XP/2000 and adjust TCP windowsize instead, that will give you less packetloss

good luck
