those small testfiles is not accurate for your connection

i checked your stats, you scored today 3348Kbps on 5MB test and around the same on 12MB test

Yeah, I was getting some good results, but now my speed is back down to about 600Kbps. I am guessing this fluctuation is normal?

during hevy traffic you will see this slow speeds, i suggest you always start with atleast 1496 KB downloadtest http://server1.testmy.net/d_load.php?ni=1&tt=1&s=1496&st=st&ta=&top=
