im new here,

here is my problem..

Download and Upload is the same, something is wrong.

Possible solution:

-Turn off your firewall
-Empty your internet files through Internet Options or cache with Firefox
-Call your provider

2.17GHz, 512MB of RAM
Windows XP SP2

we just got it hook up about 3 weeks ago, should'nt they make sure it was fast as it can be before making me pay?

Security and durability is the business modo when selling their products, you can make it faster, but that's your own decision once you recieve the device.

if you have a router, bypass it

connect your PC direct to modem via ethernet

also powercycle modem, leave it off for 30 full seconds

make a new tweaktest

this dosent look good

RTT min:                77.6 ms   
RTT max:              1802.0 ms   
RTT avg:               906.7 ms
