I recently found myself engulfed in Rockstar INXS TV show.  Of course there are some times when I can't watch it so I visit the website.  Rockstar.msn.com  I want to watch some past weeks performances.  Before I started tweaking my machine the videos would load and I would watch.  I did something when I tweaked I don't know what.  I know I installed cablenut and I use VanBueran's premade file for 512/128 DSL 1460.  I am running windows XP pro w/ SP2 I have all of the updates for everypiece of hardware and software on my machine.  I still can't get the video's to play.

::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 565 Kbps about 0.6 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB)
Download Speed is:: 69 kB/s
Tested From:: http://testmy.net/ (server2)
Test Time:: Sat Aug 13 14:26:59 PDT 2005
Bottom Line:: 10X faster than 56K 1MB download in 14.84 sec
Diagnosis: Looks Great : 19.45 % faster than the average for host (148.177)
Validation Link:: http://testmy.net/stats/id-HW8IJOD6L

I don't know what it could be but if somebody knows it would be nice to be informed
Thanks

hey OneWildCrzyMan and welcome to the forum Smile

a great thing with cablenut is that its very easy to restore settings to windows default

you should try that first

open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registy

now all fields suppose to be blank

restart your computer

test again

That didn't seem to work for some reason
then its not cablenut that is the problem

make a tweaktest http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks

that looks like default settings to me  Surprised

well the settings is not the issue here

you have a problem with latency

call your ISP and let them check modem signals

as suggested, use windows default settings atleast until your ISP resolved the problem
