heres my upload test

Connection is:: 373 Kbps about 0.4 Mbps (tested with 579 kB)
Upload Speed is:: 46 kB/s
Tested From:: http://testmy.net/ (server1)
Test Time:: Sun Aug 14 2005 19:34:32 GMT-0400 (Eastern Standard Time)
Bottom Line:: 7X faster than 56K 1MB upload in 22.26 sec
Diagnosis: 90% + Okay : running at 100 % of your hosts average (Comcast.net)

i want to get atleast 80kb for "Upload Speed"
download speed is good, all i need is better upload.... i am willing to download any file that will make uploads faster
max upload is advertised for 384kb

advertised upload speed is 384kb and download is 4mb, i have Comcast and they just upgraded to 6mb/ and i think 786kb? for free!

if you got the upgrade already here is the list

if you have/had:
4Mb/384kb goes to 6Mb/384kb  $43/ for customers
6Mb/768kb goes to 8Mb/768kb  $53/for customers


how much you paying for Comcast hsi?



373 is close to your advertise speeds (384)

download is the only one that got the upgrade not the upload. looks like you have the 6Mb/384kb plan (if you got the upgrade already) and your upload is right on cap which is great

if you want higher speeds for $10 more a month you'll have 8Mb/768kb

Anyway, on to your problem. Could you post some more info on your setup and your connection such as, your ISP, what your connection is rated, if you have a router etc.. etc..

There are no legal ways to achive speeds above your cap. You're already getting 373Kb, which is probably as fas as you're going to get.
