Well, I just got off the phone with a tech. He ran a few test.. He said im gettting packet loss.. Wow he's telling me something I didnt already know.  evil (I was being sarcastic)
But then he ran a few more test and found that other modems in the area, are getting poor signals.. Think they will make the signals stronger to the Node? Hope so..because its located in my front yard.. =)
Maybe I can get closer to my cap..

Having the node in ur front yard, right next to your computer, or three block away has nothing to do with the signal you get.  In general, distance is not a factor.  The only thing about having it farther away from you is that there is more chance for interference entering the line.
