i decided to dl firefox, (which kicks ass btw, i just didnt like it before because i dont like netscape and theyre very similar), but when i use firefox on the dl speed test, heres what i get:

::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
Connection is:: 3619 Kbps about 3.6 Mbps (tested with 1013 KB)
Download Speed is:: 442 kB/s
Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/
Bottom Line:: 65 times faster than 56K you can download 1MB in 2.32 second(s)

compared to IE: (my top speed EVER!!!!)

hmm... that is odd.. as you sure that the page isnt being cached in IE?  Or even if it ever existed... The database isnt find anything like that right now.. I dont think that firefox would be that slower..

i have Cox's 5mb plan- its been abnormally fast recently. upload:

it cant be in the cache, because i used zonealarm to clear all my ie cookies and stuff after the first dl test, and then it went higher.

Wait, do youre on a 5MB plan, getting 44mb speeds? Sweet....

And i get higher results with Firefox than i do with IE. I got 768k dsl and get 773 or firefox

Dude your IE is caching your S#!t, there is no way you are getting a real 44 Mbps off Cox.net Wink ~~ common bea real with me bro.

Agreed...  Isn't the technical limitation for cable 30 Mbps?

Man, if every one on a node was at 30 Mbps...  lol, one or two people would get 30 Mbps, while the rest would get like 2Kbps.
