Hi, thanks for a warm welcome
I currently live in Puebla México, ISP is called Megared, I'm paying for a 1.5 Mbit Upload 378 Kbit Download connection, I've been tweaking here and there, ahd that's where I got the results, that's as far as I could Push my connection, unfortunately, I own a Cyber café, so, during the day I can't test due to the traffic in the LAN
I've been running tests on other sites and I get a huge variation between 7 Mbps and 25 Mbps, however this here is the one I've always used since I find it the most reliable.

not as hard as you would think ;) I did it once with RR , they found out within minutes, re-programed the modem and shut my service for 3 days pending the signing of the " i wouldnt do it again by penilty of law" papers. The only reason they let me off the hook is because i claimed computer illiteracy
::: edit :::
and no, it has nothing to do with opening the modem lol

Actually I don't know haw to uncap a modem or anything about stealing nobody's bandwidth, I'm developing a software that "gives the impression of a Mega super fast connection" But my actual download speed is 1.3 Mbits even though to the eyes of the world (Particularly my customers) my conection is of 15 MBits.
Trust me, nothing illegal here, not even the software installed on my computers, just having fun legally.
If you are interested, what this softeare does, is to download only a small part of the images, somehow like zipping the images from the internet, the result is a poorly displayed image, but you wouldn´t normally care, and if you do, you can right clikc the image, to redownload it full size. This program is based on the theory that internet is 90% pictures and 10% text, so if you compress pictures by 80%, your bandwidth is like 70% increased (Aparently) Also, most download tests, use pictures to measure download.

testmy.net does not use images for testing, it used compressed data... can you explain how you still scored so high... the data I use is compressed to the point where it can't be compressed further... your program would have to drop data off to make this possible...

You smell that??? Smells like BS to me.
And if its not I fail to see the usefullness of the program since it would not improve download speed of software and what not, and most webpages dont take but a second to load on high speed cable anyhow.
