1)  Win XP
2)  Not sure what speed I'm supposed to have.....Verizon switched me over to Hawaiian Telcom.
3)  Never installed any tweaks......tried test...waited and waited and waited and waited.....nada
4)  ::::::::::.. Download Stats ..::::::::::
    Connection is:: 85 Kbps about 0.1 Mbps (tested with 97 kB)
    Download Speed is:: 10 kB/s
    Tested From:: http://testmy.net/ (server2)
    Test Time:: Mon Oct 17 19:17:39 UTC-1000 2005
    Bottom Line:: 2X faster than 56K 1MB download in 102.4 sec
    Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 2.58 % of your hosts average (hawaiiantel.net)

Upload time is fine but download time is a fricken joke.  Can anyone help?

yea i had this problem once before with dsl, the problem is there is static in your phone line, remove all phones connected to it, and remove all cordless phones away from the modem.... that fixed my problem

Thanx anox195!  I found out that my dad just added another phone line in the kitchen......about the same time I noticed the slowdown.   I disconnected it and my speed has increased but still not at what my service is capable of.

Connection is:: 1188 Kbps about 1.2 Mbps (tested with 748 kB)
Download Speed is:: 145 kB/s
Tested From:: http://testmy.net/ (server2)
Test Time:: Tue Oct 18 10:38:04 UTC-1000 2005
Bottom Line:: 21X faster than 56K 1MB download in 7.06 sec
Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 39.51 % of your hosts average (hawaiiantel.net)

From 2% to 40% is kick ass but if anyone knows how to make it faster please reply.
