I went from 6MB Comcast to this:

Download Speed is:: 126 kB/s

Bottom Line:: 18X faster than 56K 1MB download in 8.13 sec
Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 22.51 % faster than the average for host (72.117)

download speed is good according to advertise speeds, uploads no so good, what does not make sense is price, thats way to high, i pay the same for 4Mb/512

Yeah, I know I am getting reamed on the price.  The reason for the downgrade is that I moved from my apartment in Dallas to a suburb of Dallas, and this is the only company that provides broadband service to the complex besides DSL and I don't want a phone line.

no im sure he means in general a 1mb cap is slow, which nowadays it is very slow.

What do you mean the opposite, he has extremely good dl speeds on his cap and his upload could be alot better
he is missing 150 Kbps up.


So i guess all the people with 1.1 sdsl there connection is slow to, ui dont think so .

im not saying anything that has to do with being close to his cap or not im saying in general his advertised speeds(49.95 a month for 1MB/512KB) compared to most rates and adv speeds is slow.

Yeah it is slow compared to the major broadband cable providers and way overpriced. 

They had 3 packages:
256K, 512K, and 1MB.

hes good on the download for his package, but with most cable co's the standard DL speed is 3/4/6 megs.  with verizon offering 15/2 for the same price it is slow by todays standards.
